The Product Supply Team is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The primary purpose of this role is to clean and synchronize business data, driving data flow simplification and synchronization. Additionally, the Data Engineer will play a crucial role in optimizing the planning forecast process to enhance forecast accuracy, ultimately contributing to category growth.
Your Role Specialty Areas
In this role, the individual will
1. Data Cleaning and Synchronization:
Develop and implement data cleaning processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.Design and maintain data pipelines to synchronize business data across various systems and platforms.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data quality issues and establish solutions.Design and build ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from SAP ERP systems (e.g., CDS Views, OData APIs, BAPIs).2. Data Flow Simplification:
Analyze existing data flows and recommend simplifications to improve efficiency.Work with cross-functional teams to streamline data processes and enhance data accessibility.Implement best practices in data management and governance.Work closely with IT teams to access SAP data sources, independently explore table structures (e.g., MARA, EKPO, BKPF), and integrate business-critical data into the enterprise data warehouse3. Forecasting Optimization:
Collaborate with planning and commercial teams to enhance forecasting models and processes.Utilize statistical methods and machine learning techniques to improve forecast accuracy.Monitor and analyze forecasting performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.4. Documentation and Reporting:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, models, and systems.Develop reports and dashboards to communicate findings and support data-driven decision-making.

Develop scalable data models to support Power BI dashboards for supply chain, sales, and inventory analytics.
Ensure data quality through automated validation, monitoring, and documentation of data pipelines and business rules.
Collaborate with IT, data science, and business teams to bridge SAP systems with analytics platforms, contributing to cross-functional technical discussions and code reviews.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in supply chain or business process intelligence Experience with SAP data Exposure to Generative AI technologies and agentic workflows is a plus, including tools[RL1] such as Cursor, Windsurf, CrewAI, LangChain, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks for automating data integration, processing, and analytics enhancement. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data manipulation and ETL processes. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python for data processing. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.This is important to note:
