Interning as a Data Engineer you will:

Implement and support analytical data platform solutions for data driven decisions and insightsDesign data structures and operate the internal data lakeImplement end-to-end solutions to optimize the operational processes of the internal data lakeWork on different data model designs, architecture, implementation, discussions and optimizationsHelping other users in points mentioned above Help bring more insight into the MSD manufacturing processes

What should you know / have:

Hands-on experience in SQLHands on experience in programming languages like Python etc.Knowledge of RDBMS, Big Data, ETL and Data-warehousing ConceptsKnowledge of cloud services such as AWS or equivalent is a benefitKnowledge of reporting/visualization tools in the industry is a benefitGood English communication skills

What will you do / learn:

Get insight how big data are contributing on addressing problems in pharma businessHelp building data platform supporting MSD Manufacturing businessWork with AWS cloud services for processing dataWork in an agile setup Solve complex problems
