The EDI (Enterprise Data Intelligence) team is a data warehousing team. We cater to various internal teams to provide analytics for key decision making in the organization. We use the following technologies to provide these benefits to our stakeholders - Python, YAML, Json, SQL, Git, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, HPCC, Essbase/OCI and Power BI. The EDI Data Operations Guild takes on the responsibility of managing and upkeeping the data infrastructure and processes within the EDI team. Our main objective revolves around ensuring that our data assets remain available, integral, and secure.
The team supports the developers and stakeholders and is responsible for the operations and maintenance of all things in the EDI team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree holder

Experience in Cloud technologies: scheduling pipelines, key-vault management, user access management, going through logs and debugging issues, and remediating queueing

Strong values in following processes and helping fellow team members implementing good standard practices while developing.

Good to have: Any experience in Power BI report creation, to create dashboards to show status of our Azure stack including resources and pipelines.

Good communication skills, to be able to convey errors in pipelines and resolutions to our developers and stakeholders.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Establish relationships with all internal groups, so that our developers are proactively aware of any data issues.Make sure all data pipelines are run as expected every day.Coordinate with developers in LNRS to define and prioritize work, so that our users and stakeholders are aware of all data issues, remediations and delays in services.Respond with urgency to both internal and external inquiries.Create requirement documents and markups for developers to code future automated pipelines and data tables.Assist in User Access Management, debugging logs to find solutions, remediating pipeline issues on Data Factory, and Password/Secret rotation.Ensure assigned projects are completed within schedules while meeting business objectives.To provide accurate administrative, data and operational support to our Insurance, Finance, Business Services and Core Systems stakeholders and developers.To understand the entire life cycle of the data that is being processed in the team.
