Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?As a Data Engineer, you will play an important role in our development efforts related to Product & Platform Modernization initiatives that curate data for downstream and analytical consumption. Collaboration, communication, teamwork, and expanding your skillsets will be keys to your success as you contribute to our efforts within the Cloud utilizing the following technologies / methodologies: AWS, Python, SQL, S3, Lambda, Event Bridge, Step Functions, Terraform, Databricks, GitHub, DynamoDB, Postgres, Unity Catalog, SonarQube, Guidewire CDA, CI/CD, Test-Driven Development, and the Travelers Engineering Platform (TEP).

What is a Must Have?Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training with data tools, techniques, and manipulation.Four years of data engineering or equivalent experience.
