CTG is seeking to fill a Data Engineer – Data Integration opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ. Location: Remote Duration: 18 months Duties: Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) to support enterprise data integration initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data sources. Build and maintain robust data workflows to move, cleanse, and transform data from various source systems to target platforms. Optimize data integration performance and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data flows. Support data architecture strategies, including Lakehouse implementation using Azure Synapse and Data Lake. Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of data-related issues and anomalies. Ensure best practices are followed for change data capture (CDC), data quality, and metadata management. Skills: Proficiency in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) for both data and application integration. Strong SQL skills with at least 2+ years of experience in SQL scripting. Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and Lakehouse architecture (2+ years). Ability to handle complex data formats and structures including XML, JSON, flat files, APIs, and various databases. Understanding of change data capture (CDC) and data warehousing principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to resolve data inconsistencies and performance issues. Excellent communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in ETL and Informatica development. Demonstrated experience designing large-scale data integration solutions in cloud environments. Proven track record of implementing performant and reliable data pipelines across multiple source/target systems. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
