As a Data Engineer III within the International Consumer Bank, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional value and seamless experiences to our customers. You will work in a collaborative environment, focusing on specific banking functions and products. Your role involves building data pipelines and reporting capabilities for areas such as finance, treasury operations, and regulatory reporting. Collaborate with product teams to deliver tailored data solutions that meet business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

Contribute to end-to-end data pipeline solutions on cloud infrastructure.Use domain modeling techniques to build best-in-class business products.Structure software for easy understanding, testing, and evolution.Build scalable solutions that avoid single points of failure.Develop secure code to protect customers and the organization.Investigate and fix issues promptly, ensuring they do not resurface.Ensure zero downtime for end-users during releases.Optimize data writing and reading for performance needs.Maintain system reliability and ease of operation.Continuously update technologies and patterns.Support products through their lifecycle, including production and incident management.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Formal training or certification in data engineering concepts.Recent hands-on experience as a data engineer.Proficiency in Python programming.Experience in designing and implementing effective tests(unit, component, integration, end-to-end, performance, etc)Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Understanding of cloud technologies and distributed systems.Knowledge of data transformation frameworks and pipeline orchestration tools.Ability to manage and optimize queries for large data volumes.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Experience in highly regulated environments.Understanding of AWS cloud technologies.Knowledge of data governance frameworks.Familiarity with event-based architecture, data streaming, and messaging frameworks.
