As a Data Engineer Analyst I you will responsible for building, maintaining, optimizing, and overseeing data retrieval, storage, and distribution to support the business requirements. She/He contributes to the different phases of the development during and after the project, as well a supporting the architecture in place (ingestion, transformation, publication) and delivering enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering Skills

Collaborate with senior data engineer to execute the work of implementing and supporting the technical solutions implemented in the data lakeFocus on the technical configuration aspects (i.e., in the data lake) including data ingestion and integration frameworks.Implement data quality checks and ensure data accuracy and consistency.Troubleshooting data pipeline issues and resolving basic technical problems

Technical Skills

Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering, such as SQL, Python or Scala.Work with database systems (SQL and NoSQL) for data storage and retrieval.Learn and apply best practices in data engineering and data architecture.

Project Management Skills

Assist in project planning and coordination for data engineering initiatives.Contribute to the documentation of data pipelines and processes.

Interpersonal Skills

Data Engineer, Analyst II does not directly supervise others but will frequently work as part of a team.

Proactively foster and maintain good relationships with Data Analyst and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels.Share responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time product delivery, which requires a clear understanding of expectations and capabilities as well as the ability to act effectively as a team member.Display the requisite verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas / designs to colleagues in multiple functional areas and at varying levels of technical understanding.Display a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.1-2 years of IT or a related discipline experience.  Outstanding fresh graduates are welcome.Analytical and conceptual skillsStrong oral and written communication skills, including technical writingMust have a strong systems and process orientationMust be comfortable working remotely and lack of face-to-face time with colleagues and managers
