Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Python, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Java, and React. The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in Intraday Liquidity Stress Testing and Cash Flow Forecasting and will contribute to building scalable data pipelines and insightful dashboards for financial analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and Azure Data Factory.
Orchestrate and automate data workflows using Azure Data Factory for efficient data movement and transformation.
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize financial data and support decision-making.
Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration of data services with React-based user interfaces.
Support backend data services and APIs using Java where required.
Apply domain knowledge to engineer data models for intraday liquidity stress testing and cash flow forecasting.
Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into robust engineering solutions.
Ensure data pipeline performance, reliability, and scalability across all components.
Required Skills:
Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and application development.
Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory for ETL and data orchestration.
Working knowledge of Java and React for full-stack development.
Familiarity with financial risk modeling, especially liquidity stress testing and cash flow forecasting.
Understanding of cloud-based data architectures and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience in Agile framework.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance, or related field with 7+ years of IT experience.
Experience in banking or financial services domain.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to liquidity and risk management (e.g., FR 2052a).
