You & your role

Join our warm and dynamic team at Rabobank, where you’ll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our in-house application that supports sales, service and communication processes. This application leverages Azure SQL databases, a C# .NET backend, and an Angular frontend to visualize data points and insights through widgets that support workflows which are crucial for a large group of internal users. As a Data Engineer, you will transform data from our global data platform into an Azure SQL database, ensuring it is stable and highly performant for consumption by the C# backend and visualization by the Angular frontend. Your role will focus on extracting and converting data from multiple sources into high-performance visuals, optimizing processes, and enhancing workflow management capabilities.

You & your talent

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. 

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Data Engineer or BI Developer in a complex IT landscape. 

Experience or affinity with software development in the financial sector. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

Agile mindset with experience in Agile/SCRUM methodologies. 

Fluent in English. Dutch language proficiency at minimum B2 level (CEFR) is required. 

Proficient in developing ETL/ELT solutions. 

Experienced with tools such as ADF, Databricks, and Azure DevOps. 

Experienced with NoSQL databases (Azure Cosmos DB) 
- Knowledge of Python and Spark. 

Knowledge of Data Build Tools. 

Familiarity with data modelling in Analysis Services and Power BI. 

Knowledge of C# .Net and Angular is a plus
