**CTG is seeking to fill a Data Engineer opening for our client in Philadelphia, PA.** **Location:** Philadelphia, PA **Duration:** 12 months **Duties:** + Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Airflow + Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data solutions + Develop and maintain data models, data lakes, and data warehouse infrastructure in AWS + Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure accuracy and integrity + Optimize data systems and ensure the infrastructure supports business analytics and reporting needs + Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis on data-related problems **Skills:** + Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation and pipeline development + Advanced SQL skills for querying, transforming, and optimizing large datasets + Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for orchestration of workflows + Solid understanding of AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, and Athena + Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git), CI/CD practices, and containerization (Docker) + Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills **Experience:** + Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Data Engineering or similar role + Proven experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale datasets + Prior experience working in cloud-based data environments (preferably AWS) + Experience working in Agile teams and using tools such as Jira or Confluence **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
