Beyond implementation, you’ll mentor others and promote a culture of modern data craftsmanship that fuels operational intelligence and predictive analytics. **What you’ll be doing** + Designing and optimizing scalable data pipelines with Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, and Azure tools + Developing and automating robust ETL/ELT processes for AI-ready datasets + Translating business and technical requirements into advanced data models + Engineering high-performance database schemas using Microsoft SQL and Fabric Lakehouses + Migrating and transforming data across enterprise systems like SAP, Oracle, and Dynamics + Collaborating with data architects, analysts, and AI engineers to power analytics workflows + Conducting rigorous data validation, quality checks, and integration testing + Documenting pipeline architectures, transformations, and migration processes + Enabling compliance and governance with metadata management in Microsoft Purview + Automating data operations through scripting and orchestration best practices + Coaching cross-functional teams on modern engineering tools and methodologies **What you’ll bring along** + Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field + Preferred: Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate or Fabric Analytics Engineer + Additional certifications in data engineering platforms and tools (a plus) + Minimum 5-7 years of experience in designing and maintaining enterprise-scale data solutions in Azure + Extensive ETL/ELT automation experience for AI/ML workloads + Proficiency in pipeline scripting (Python, PowerShell, SQL) and cloud migration + Track record integrating complex data sources and ensuring quality delivery + Familiarity with big data tools within Azure (Hadoop, Spark) and reporting platforms like Power BI + Demonstrated impact mentoring teams and driving readiness for AI-driven analytics + Expert-level skills in Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, and Power Query + Deep knowledge of lakehouse architectures, data modeling, and ETL/ELT principles + Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, PowerShell, and Spark/Dataflow languages + Proven ability to design both logical and physical models for analytics and AI + Familiarity with data governance and lineage tracking via Microsoft Purview + Strong experience integrating data from sources like Azure SQL, SAP, and Oracle + Background in scaling real-time and batch data solutions for high-volume systems + Effective communication skills to engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams + Passion for mentoring peers and advancing data engineering practices + Excellent command of both spoken and written English **What’s in it for you** ✔ New beginnings can be a challenge.
