We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our enterprise AI & Analytics team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing and building modern data pipelines, dimensional models, and semantic layers that power data & AI driven analytics solutions across the enterprise.
You’ll work closely with senior architects, engineers, and BI developers, gaining exposure to innovative cloud technologies and contributing to impactful AI/ML and analytics projects.
This role requires someone to work out of our home office in Phoenix, Arizona 2-3 times a week.
Essential Duties:
Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Databricks, DBT and other Azure services. Design and implement dimensional data models (star, snowflake schemas) that support analytics and AI use cases. Develop and maintain semantic models for Power BI, enabling self-service analytics and enterprise reporting. Collaborate with the AI Solutions Architect and data scientists to prepare data for machine learning workflows. Ensure data solutions meet performance, reliability, security, and governance standards. Document data flows, data models, and technical designs in support of architecture reviews and operational excellence. Troubleshoot and improve existing data pipelines and models.Qualifications:
2–5 years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or similar role Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake) Strong SQL and Python skills for data transformation and pipeline development Experience building Power BI semantic models and designing star schemas Familiarity with Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutionsPreferred Qualifications:
Azure certifications (Azure Data Engineer Associate, Databricks Data Engineer, etc.) Exposure to MLOps or integrating data pipelines with ML models Knowledge of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines Experience using DBT Familiarity with Google Cloud (GCP)Why Join our Team:
