We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our enterprise AI & Analytics team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing and building modern data pipelines, dimensional models, and semantic layers that power data & AI driven analytics solutions across the enterprise.

You’ll work closely with senior architects, engineers, and BI developers, gaining exposure to innovative cloud technologies and contributing to impactful AI/ML and analytics projects.

\n

This role requires someone to work out of our home office in Phoenix, Arizona 2-3 times a week. 

\n

Essential Duties:

\n\nBuild, optimize, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Databricks, DBT and other Azure services.\nDesign and implement dimensional data models (star, snowflake schemas) that support analytics and AI use cases.\nDevelop and maintain semantic models for Power BI, enabling self-service analytics and enterprise reporting.\nCollaborate with the AI Solutions Architect and data scientists to prepare data for machine learning workflows.\nEnsure data solutions meet performance, reliability, security, and governance standards.\nDocument data flows, data models, and technical designs in support of architecture reviews and operational excellence.\nTroubleshoot and improve existing data pipelines and models.\n\n

Qualifications:

\n\n2–5 years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or similar role\nHands-on experience with Azure Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake)\nStrong SQL and Python skills for data transformation and pipeline development\nExperience building Power BI semantic models and designing star schemas\nFamiliarity with Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics\nAbility to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions\n\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\n\nAzure certifications (Azure Data Engineer Associate, Databricks Data Engineer, etc.)\n\n\nExposure to MLOps or integrating data pipelines with ML models\nKnowledge of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines\nExperience using DBT\nFamiliarity with Google Cloud (GCP)\n\n
