The Global Finance Shared Service (FSS) is a new organization that is part of the finance function; bringing finance and accounting experts together so they can share their expertise and collaborate to standardize and enhance processes and tools. Included in this organization is the Finance Center of Excellence (CoE) in Pune, India which is a unified team comprised of Finance Professionals and Data Scientists driving centralized Financial and Analytical support across all of the Wolters Kluwer global divisions. The diverse capabilities of the team are focused on Finance Reporting Harmonization (Data Governance), Technology Enablement (Simplify, Standardize, Automate), Reporting and Analytic Enhancements (BI Dashboards).  The Finance CoE has established skill-based training programs (Knowledge sharing forums) encouraging continuous learning while fostering strong engagement and belonging. 

The role

In this role, you will be part of the Wolters Kluwer Financial Shared Services (FSS) organization, supporting the Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory Division partnering closely with key finance and business stakeholders in EuropeYou will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, as well as delivering data analytics and insights that drive informed decision-making. Your work will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency across the organization.Primary tools used will be Snowflake and Informatica.

Key responsibilities

Data engineering

Assembling large, complex sets of data that meet business requirementsIdentifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvementsBuilding infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various data sources.Developing analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline for actionable insightsCollaborating with stakeholders to support their data infrastructure needsManaging and integrating data using Snowflake and InformaticaMaintaining existing ETL-jobs

Stakeholder Management

Foster positive and professional relationships with all stakeholders in the workplace for effective collaboration and communication

Continuous learning:

Learn latest tools and technologies available for data analyticsSuggest more efficient ways of processing reports

Key skills and experience required

Required: Bachelor’s degree in data science/analytics, finance, accounting, or economics or Engineering in Computer Science, or related quantitative fieldRequired – Proficiency in Informatica ETL software and Snowflake dataplatformRequired – Proficiency in SQLKnowledge of data structures, data transformations and operationsStrong analytical and communication skillsEnglish-speakingExperience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS will be plus
