**About the role** As a Data Engineer – AWS and Informatica, you will make an impact by designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and systems. You will be a valued member of the cloud modernization and migration team and work collaboratively with modern data engineering experts. **In this role, you will:** + Monitor the system’s performance and conduct database tuning. + Plan and execute migration projects. + Craft complex SQL queries and optimize them. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations. **What you need to have to be considered:** + Expertise in Informatica IICS, AWS Database Migration Service (DMS). + Strong understanding of Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools. + Experience with different database management systems such as PostgreSQL Db2 and Oracle. + Awareness of data security best practices and compliance requirements. + Proficiency in Java and frameworks like Spring Boot. + Familiarity with tools and techniques for data validation and cleansing. **These will help you stand out:** + Experience with Java Persistence API (JPA) and Hibernate for ORM. + Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit. + Familiarity with BDD tools such as Cucumber for testing. + Excellent communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders. + Experience with scripting languages like Python or Shell scripting for automation tasks.
