Data Engineer (Presales/COE Team) - As a Data Engineer in our COE Presales (Data & AI) team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and recommending solutions leveraging the latest data engineering and AI/ML technologies. You will work closely with stakeholders to design, develop, and implement data strategies that drive business value and support presales engagements for government and enterprise clients.

You Will:

Lead the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines and architectures for analytics and machine learning.Design and plan data-centric approaches for deployment, capacity, and performance.Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and adhere to industry best practices.Evaluate and recommend leading data engineering and ML/AI technologies to meet customer requirements.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine the most effective solutions for customers’ needs.Ingest, process and manage data across various modalities – including video, audio, tabular and text – ensuring solutions are robust for diverse data types.Build demos or proof-of-concept solutions that ingest and process client sample data using modern data and AI/ML technologies to showcase solution feasibility and value.Articulate the business value and ROI of proposed solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.Design, build and support the development of AI solutions for internal or external use cases as part of our effort to promote adoption of AI by customers or staff.

You Bring:

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field3–5 years’ experience in data engineering or presales/solution engineering rolesCertifications in Cloud Data Engineer ie Azure Data Engineer (DP-203) or AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty, Google Professional Data Engineer. Vendor Neutral/Multi-Cloud Data Engineer Associate / Profession in Databricks, Snowflakes or Cloudera Data Platform.Data Engineering & MLOpsData pipeline orchestration (e.g., Apache Airflow)Distributed processing (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)Batch and real-time data (e.g., Kafka)Familiarity with Data lake and warehouse designML/AI tools: Databricks, DataRobot, SQL, Python or any other similar toolsMLOps: model deployment, experiment tracking, CI/CD for data/MLFamiliarity with government compliance (e.g., IM8, GCC)Experience with ingesting and processing multi-modal data, including video, audio, tabular and text formats.
