Based in Marshalltown, Iowa, you'll play a vital role in capturing, documenting, and coordinating data knowledge to support our business analytics community—bridging the gap between business analysts, developers, and data strategy teams.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Work with business to understand reporting / data analysis needs, finding opportunities for local processes to be used regionally / globally, or inversely to educate users on existing solutions that already meet their needs. Work with DW architects / developers to determine data sources for reporting or request new projects for acquiring missing data and participate in project execution representing the needs of both business and IT communities.    Support business users / analysts and Intelligent Automation teams to identify accurate data sources for localized reporting and processes.  Maintain a comprehensive data catalog / dictionary for business user / ad-hoc user, IT analyst, developer, and management consumption. Serve as a liaison between data consumers (business users) and Power BI / EDW developers. Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience), with 3+ years of experience working in corporate environments with relational databases and reporting services. Proficiency with at least one reporting platform such as Power BI, Cognos, or Noetix. Ability to review and interpret T-SQL code, relational database structures, views, and stored procedures. Good interpersonal, written, and presentation skills. Solid organizational and planning abilities with experience managing multiple projects and priorities. Ability to collaborate across teams and influence collaborators in a matrixed environment. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: ERP system exposure, ideally within a manufacturing setting. Hands-on experience with SSIS and sophisticated T-SQL development. Report development experience with Power BI and/or SSRS. Familiarity with data warehousing methodologies, including data source integration, Data Mart design, and EDW architecture recommendations. Experience with documentation and collaboration tools like Confluence, SharePoint, or Red Gate SQL Doc. Exposure to Azure cloud technologies such as Data Factory, Synapse, or Azure DevOps.
