The Data Conversion Analyst is responsible for performing quantitative and qualitative analysis that supports the successful conversion of both internal and external systems into Casella’s Lead to Cash environment. The incumbent gathers and analyzes data from source systems to ensure that converted data meets Casella’s standards or identifies issues requiring additional, qualified assistance. This role plays a key part in maintaining data integrity and supporting business continuity during system transitions.

 

Hiring Range: From $80,000-$100,000

Key Responsibilities Demonstrates deep knowledge of the Lead to Cash system and its associated data governance principles, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and compliance throughout the conversion process.Extracts and prepares relevant data from source systems for accurate analysis and informed decision-making.Reviews source data to detect and resolve inconsistencies prior to conversion, ensuring accuracy and alignment with data standards.Leads the development and stewardship of Casella’s master data, including products, materials, and related items.Supports fee implementation from acquisition data and analyzes the impact of proposed fee structures.Builds strong relationships with system users to validate data understanding and collaboratively review source data for accuracy and completeness.Collaborates closely with IT to validate data conversion logic and ensure all assumptions align with system requirements and business objectives.Applies sound judgment to identify when manual intervention is required to ensure accurate and complete data conversion.Delivers high-quality work within established timelines while proactively seeking clarification when needed to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals.Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales and services and performs any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and/or abide by our core values. Education, Experience & Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of the solid waste industry from an operations, accounting, or financial background. The incumbent must demonstrate effective project leadership to balance data gathering and analysis while working with key staff to complete critical business projects. A proven ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment is essential.

Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and formal presentation skills, the ability to multitask and meet consistent deadlines, and strong time management and organizational abilities are required. Exceptional computer and financial modeling experience, along with strong leadership and interpersonal skills, are expected.

An MBA or bachelor’s degree is desired but not required for this position.
