Job Title: Data Clerk
Job Description

This role involves working closely with AI Engineers in a tech-filled conferencing room where new audio conferencing tools are tested. The position is clerical, focusing on note-taking and providing feedback during meetings. You will participate in virtual conference rooms, assist in recording sessions for future AI usage, and collaborate with Quality Engineers to test user experiences in video conferencing.

ResponsibilitiesParticipate in large group listening/speaking exercises while Engineers test products.Review and execute test scripts, notating all findings.Collaborate with Engineers to assist in notating their test cases and provide feedback on results.Occasionally assist in evaluating products according to specifications.Essential SkillsSolid verbal and written communication skills in English.Ability to be sociable and carry on a conversation with or without scripted dialogue.Punctuality and consistency.Professional demeanor.Additional Skills & QualificationsCustomer service experience.Retail and clerical skills.Administrative capabilities.Knowledge of conferencing systems like POLY/Plantronics, Zoom, MS Teams, Webex, Facetime, and Skype.Work Environment

The work schedule is flexible, with mandatory work days from Monday to Wednesday and Friday, from 10 am to 5 pm. Thursdays are optional but highly encouraged. The role offers part-time hours ranging from 18 to 40 hours weekly. The corporate office is located in North Austin off Parmer Lane, where you will primarily work in large tech-filled conference rooms. The facility is equipped with a cafeteria, break room with games such as ping-pong and billiards, and often provides breakfast and drinks. The company shuts down from Christmas to New Year's, offering a relaxed and engaging work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
