Our client, a leader in data center infrastructure and facility management, is seeking a Data Center Transition Coordinator to join their team. As a Data Center Transition Coordinator, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support team supporting data center operations and transition activities. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking, collaboration skills, and problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Data Center Transition Coordinator (Part-time)
**Location: Spring, TX**
**Pay Range:**
**What's the Job?**
+ Manage transition activities related to Houston and Dallas data centers and colocation facilities
+ Develop comprehensive transition plans including timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies
+ Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth migration processes
+ Review and verify documentation related to data center support processes and infrastructure
+ Facilitate knowledge transfer and training for third-party providers on data center operations
**What's Needed?**
+ Experience supporting infrastructure in large data center environments
+ Knowledge of facility management disciplines including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
+ Understanding of data center IT support and network technologies, including intermediate knowledge of Juniper VCF and L3/L4 networks
+ Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
+ Familiarity with disaster recovery practices and project management within Agile methodologies
