Kforce has a client seeking a Data Center Technical Operations Engineer - Facility to oversee engineering operations within a data center environment. This role involves managing risk, performing corrective and preventative maintenance on critical infrastructure, coordinating with vendors, and reporting on operational metrics. Responsibilities: * Manage on-site shift technicians, senior technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure all work aligns with established procedures and standards * Establish performance benchmarks, conduct operational analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of critical facility operations and maintenance * Collaborate with IT managers and business leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize safety, performance, reliability, and efficiency * Operate and manage both routine and emergency services for critical systems including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, and building monitoring systems * Support the design and build-out of new facilities as needed * Participate in initiatives aimed at improving facility efficiency * Oversee asset and inventory management * Assist with recruiting efforts * Ensure delivery of high-quality service and fulfillment of customer requirements
