Location: + Chicago, IL Responsibilities: + Monitor & Maintain Data Center Infrastructure: Use tools like SolarWinds to oversee cooling systems, AC, humidity, fire panels, and hardware/software performance. + Rack & Stack / Decommissioning: Handle physical equipment, especially removing outdated hardware. + Troubleshooting & Escalation: Address hardware, network, or software issues and escalate appropriately. + Documentation & Incident Management: Maintain records and manage tickets via ServiceNow. + Disaster Recovery & Backup: Support business continuity through recovery planning. + Environmental Monitoring: Ensure optimal power and cooling conditions. Skills: + 3+ years of data center/network monitoring experience. + Experience with rack & stack, especially decommissioning. + Familiarity with Windows OS, network storage, and escalation protocols. + ServiceNow proficiency. Schedule: + Third Shift: 11 PM – 7 AM, Sunday through Thursday. + Must be open to working weekends and holidays. + Requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently.
