Our client is looking for a qualified **Data Center Cable Technician** to join their team **onsite** in Alpharetta, GA. This role is a Monday to Friday, 1st Shift with rotating on call nights / weekends. This is more physical in nature and along the lines of a cable tech. The ideal candidate will bring strong extensive experience in cable pulling, troubleshooting skills, and a solid background in data center operations. The Technician will be supporting a reclamation project.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Perform physical removal of data center hardware and infrastructures
+ Execute structured cabling tasks such as pulling cables
+ Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and connectivity issues as needed
+ Support asset reclamation and decommissioning efforts
+ Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
**Skills and Qualifications:**
+ Proven experience working in a data center environment
+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
+ Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with cable pulling
+ Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
+ Familiarity with data center best practices and safety standards
+ Experience with asset tracking and inventory systems
**Wage Range** :
The rate for this position is between **$24.50 - $28.60 per hour.** Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
