Job Title: Data Center Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a Data Center Architect with a wealth of experience in designing and delivering complex data center projects. The ideal candidate will have managed at least 2–3 data center builds and will be adept at overseeing projects from site feasibility to handover.

ResponsibilitiesLead the design and delivery of large-scale, technical data center projects across all phases.Provide creative and innovative solutions that align with client needs.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to produce coordinated deliverables, including BIM models, drawings, and specifications.Manage client communications, technical reports, and presentations.Ensure commercial awareness and discipline throughout project execution.Promote health and safety in all aspects of design and delivery.Contribute to team growth, mentoring, and internal initiatives.Support business development and help raise the company's profile in the industry.Essential SkillsProven experience in data center design and construction.Strong understanding of design processes, standards, and project workflows.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks or projects.Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and BIM coordination.Excellent communication and client relationship-building skills.Experience in work winning and contributing to strategic growth.Additional Skills & QualificationsRegistered architect with 10+ years of experience in the field.Leadership experience in at least 2-3 data center projects from design to completion.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.OAA Architect certification.In-depth knowledge of the National Building Code, Ontario Building Code, and International Building Code.Experience in sustainable building delivery.Familiarity with Science, Industry, and Technology sectors.Project Management experience or certification.Work Environment

The work environment is hybrid, with an expectation for leaders to be in the office at least three times a week. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow a new sector of the business, take on leadership responsibilities, and engage in client interactions and strategic thinking.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
