**Data Catalog Implementation Specialist** **Location- Remote** **Clearance- FDIC Background Check- Similar to PT** **Salary- 130k-140k/yr** _The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions._ **This program requires US Citizenship** **Overview:** We are looking for an experienced and strategic **Data Catalog Implementation Specialist** to lead and support enterprise deployments of the **data.world** platform in complex environments. This role requires a proven track record of **hands-on implementation experience** with **data.world** , especially in large-scale or regulated enterprises, and close collaboration with executive stakeholders such as Chief Data Officers (CDOs), data governance teams, and enterprise architecture functions. The ideal candidate will combine technical implementation skills with business acumen and stakeholder management to drive adoption, usability, and long-term success of the data catalog platform. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead the **end-to-end implementation** of the data.world platform across complex, multi-domain data environments. + Collaborate directly with **Chief Data Officers** , data governance leaders, and business units to align catalog capabilities with enterprise strategy and governance goals. + Develop and execute project plans for catalog rollouts, including metadata ingestion, glossary development, role-based access, and workflow design. + Customize data.world to meet organizational needs, including building and configuring datasets, integrations, taxonomies, and federated search models. + Partner with data engineers, analysts, stewards, and IT to ensure proper ingestion of metadata, lineage tracking, and documentation of data sources. + Design and deliver enablement content, training, and onboarding programs to maximize adoption across technical and non-technical users. + Monitor catalog usage metrics and provide insights and recommendations to improve data discoverability and platform performance. + Support governance and compliance teams by embedding policies, classifications, and sensitive data indicators into the catalog. **Required Qualifications:** + **Bachelor’s degree** in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Business Analytics, or a related field. + **Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience implementing the data.world platform in enterprise settings.** + Demonstrated success in **leading data catalog rollouts** and engaging with **executive-level stakeholders** , including CDOs. + Strong understanding of **metadata management** , **data governance** , and enterprise data strategy. + Experience working in or with regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, government). + Excellent project management skills with experience coordinating cross-functional technical and business teams. + Strong written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder presentations and executive briefings. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience integrating data.world with tools such as Oracle, SQL server, and Microsoft Azure. + Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools and data lineage solutions. + Working knowledge of data privacy and regulatory compliance. + Certification or formal training in data governance, metadata management, or data catalog platforms. **_ABBTECH is an EOE/Minorities/Women/Disabled Individuals/Veterans_** **_tag#IND1_**
