Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE

Maintain a predictable, transparent, global operating rhythm that ensures always-on access to high-quality data for stakeholders across the company. Responsible for day-to-day data collection, transportation, maintenance/curation and access to the BOOMI MDH corporate data asset. Work cross-functionally across the enterprise to centralize data and standardize it for use by business, data science or other stakeholders. Increase awareness about available data and democratize access to it across the company

Leads, collaborates, and demonstrates the lean principles and utilizes the lean methodologies and tools to facilitate continuous process improvements and value creation for our customers, employees and shareholders. Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Lead and participate in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Continuously monitors, models & designs BOOMI MDH environment in a high-volume transaction environment utilizing real time ERP source system and other execution systems in routing, order and lead management.

Modules are Customer, Product, Price, Delivery Management.

Active contributor to BOOMI MDH code development in projects and services.Manage and scale data pipelines from internal and external data sources to support new product launches and drive data quality across data products.Build and own the automation and monitoring frameworks that captures metrics and operational KPIs for data pipeline quality and performance.Responsible for implementing best practices around systems integration, security, performance and data management.Empower the business by creating value through the increased adoption of data, data science and business intelligence landscape.Collaborate with internal clients (data science and product teams) to drive solutioning and POC discussions.Evolve the architectural capabilities and maturity of the data platform by engaging with Enterprise architects and strategic internal and external partners.

Partners with various IT/Field/Accounting Managers and Analysts.

Value Stream process mapping, process improvement and actionable Business Requirement Documentation will be required.

Independently performs data cleansing, data audits, and data validation between multiple systems. Must repetitively review workbench outputs and drive errors toward zero revenue impact.

Provides recommendations and solutions for any errors or issues encountered to direct manager and impacted business partners.

Must understand CPG business model, co-packer and distributor distribution methods.

Must provide high level written and verbal details of preliminary workbench analysis to other analysts who will resolve the errors keyed by their Business Units.

Envisions and designs future state copacker workbench automation and integration through BOOMI MDH Requires in depth understanding of impacts to handheld and other automation as well as fully developed knowledge of proprietary internal systems.

Reports automation anomalies to IT and stakeholders using BOOMI MDH Golden Record standardization, exceptions, tags and quarantine.

Provides actionable insights, quantifies impactful numbers, root cause analyzes issues.

Make and assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in technology or 5+ years’ experience advanced programming & BOOMI MDH Developer Certification.DMBOK/DAMA certification preferred. (Zach is completing DMBOK/DAMA cert this year.)Minimum 5+ years’ experience in master data or IT environment with a combination of the following experience: ERP experience, DSD & Distributor/Co-packer data execution, CPG business model knowledge, CRM knowledge.3+ years’ SQL, Knime, Javascript, BOOMI MDH, Power BIExpert knowledge of the MS Office Suite with an emphasis on 3+ years of expert knowledge of Excel, with additional datamining program knowledge. High degree of analytical skill.Exposure to Rapid Continuous Improvement process, Lean Six.CPG, food/beverage, co-packer/distributor process, and/or finance/AP experience preferred. (Zach has 5 years CPG – Beer Industry)Experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferredDisplays interpersonal skills with excellent “servant leader” and “can do” mentality.Strong written and communication skills Excellent time management skills with ability to balance seasonal demands.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Typical office environment, generally sedentary position using computers, calculators, phones, and other office equipment. This position works in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment. The ability to manage stress, build professional and collaborative relationships, and reason through complex business situations is essential. Willing to work occasional weekends when required due to live data streams or emergency ice management. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds of file boxes for storage of data. No travel required.
