Data Architect - Research Assistant

Position Summary:
As a Data Architect, you will build ETL pipelines and design data infrastructure for a fair trade supply chain research project. The role involves integrating SAP ERP systems, developing relational databases, and supporting data warehousing efforts to drive analytics. Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data warehousing is required to perform the job well.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in SQL and relational database designExperience in building ETL pipelines and data integration processesKnowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery).Familiarity with SAP ERP systems and their data structuresStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams on research-driven projectsExperience in supply chain or fair trade domains (preferred)

Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level #4 on a scale of 0-4.
