Rate of Pay:           The salary range for this position in New York, NY is $175,947.00 – 194,400.00 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Review work products and data products developed by team to ensure development is done per required standards. Work with business users and citizen developers to understand various business requirements and pain points. Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of end-to-end data analytics and data engineering platforms including data ingestion, integration, transforming, analyzing, and delivery. Develop frameworks for data pipelines using various cloud ready technologies. Work closely with the global data designs community to build standards and frameworks. Provide technical guidance to data engineers and analysts to ensure quality and cost-efficient data products are delivered on time. Act as a scrum master to oversee sprints, retrospective meetings, daily stand-ups, and coach team members in agile frameworks and a mindset conducive to agile practices. Utilize agile methodologies and DevOps practices to ensure efficient and high-quality data engineering processes. Responsible for various visualization tools to ensure that dashboards are developed per established best practices. Work with Python programming to construct machine-learning models throughout the development cycle from design and training to evaluation, validation, and implementation. Establish best practices to ensure data products and machine learning models developed in the region can be shared and reused globally. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and develop analytical models. Acquire and analyze financial data from various ERP systems as required by the business. Operate and optimize pre-defined tools, applications, and databases/data management systems.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Data Architect related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

1.                5 years of experience in designing, building, supporting data platforms, data engineering, architecture design and Advanced Analytics;

2.                5 years of experience with SQL;

3.                Working with AWS cloud services and DevOps concepts;

4.                Working with machine learning algorithms including programming language SQL and Python;

5.                Working with BI tools, including Tableau and PowerBI.

Telecommuting and/or working from home permissible pursuant to company policy. 10% international and domestic travel is required. [Remote Role]
