What is Alcentra Limited’s Portfolio Analytics Team responsible for?Alcentra Limited’s Portfolio Analytics team is seeking a Data and Reporting Associate based in Poznan to support its regular investor and client reporting processes.
The Portfolio Analytics function is responsible for the oversight and provision of firmwide data, analytics and reporting, both internally and externally. Responsibilities include data structuring and integrity, defining calculation methodology, provisioning key portfolio metrics, custom analyses, fund modeling, and the integration of modern solutions for robust data visualization and insight. Portfolio Analytics Team provides critical support to Business Development, Investor Relations, and the Investment Teams.
Alcentra has been building a team in Poznan to help support the London team. The successful candidate should have a mixture of numerical and technology experience and will report to the Portfolio Analytics Poznan team.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of Data and Reporting Associate?Core Responsibilities:
You will manage recurring monthly and quarterly reporting processes.
You will respond to investor and prospect queries.
You will streamline and automate data workflows.
You will enhance dashboards for better data visualization.
You will support the creation of new analytics and reporting processes.
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Minimum 2 years in financial services or data roles.
Any experience of the following is a plus:
SQL
Python
Alteryx
Data visualisation especially, Tableau
Curiosity and initiative to explore data issues and improve processes.
Willingness to work in a hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).
Shift: 8:30-9:30am – 5:00-6:00pm
