The Data Governance Manager role is based in DAO team. The main purpose of this position is to work with branches and GBGF regulatory reporting producers/makers/owners to ensure the DAO owned regulatory reporting data quality issues are well and timely addressed in accordance with group and regulatory reporting and data framework, policy, standards.
In this role, you will:
Centrally collect and analyze branches regulatory reporting data quality issues (Regulatory Data Element DQ issues, RDE) owned by DAO andsort outdata quality issues remediation approaches or solutions basing on the analysis.Lead and drive branches regulatory reporting data quality issues remediation including CNQ level vertical line GBGF data producer and report makers.Support in ad-hoc branches regulatory reporting data quality self-check according to local regulators’ asks and find opportunities to achieve cross-branches data quality improvements basing on branches-level horizontal overviews.Support ad-hoc data governance related branches asks, e.g. ad-hoc queries or survey papers, etc.Consolidate and pass source business data quality issues identified fromregulatory reporting dataat branch level to DQ working group for further upstreaming source business data quality/business processes enhancements.Oversight branches regulatory reporting data quality issues remediation progress and have timely escalations when necessary.Support or patriciate DAO data related projects when necessary.Facing regulators when necessary.
