Job Description:

Regions Bank is seeking a Data and Analytics Manager I (reporting to its Birmingham, AL location.)

Job Description: Lead a team of analysts responsible for accurate data collection, processing, modeling, and analysis. Drive strategies by presenting data-driven insights to executive and non-technical audiences. Coordinate processes of modifying and transforming data into a format that is valuable, readable, and presentable. Lead and execute cross-functional projects using advanced data analysis techniques to discover insights that will drive strategic decisions and efficiencies. Prepare information and make presentations to various audiences, including executives, senior and mid-level managers, and associates. Organize the design and delivery of reports that analyze business functions, key operations and performance metrics, and trends impacting company to determine appropriate actions. Direct the requests process for data analysis through tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc. Identify trends and seek opportunities for continuous improvement. Perform general management duties, including recruiting, training, developing, and supervising analyst-level employees. 

Minimum Requirements: The position requires a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or related field of study and six (6) years of experience in a data analytics or related occupation. Foreign degree equivalent accepted. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or related field of study and eight (8) years of experience in a data analytics or related occupation. The position requires six (6) years of experience with the following skills: SAS or SQL; Tableau or ClickView, and marketing analytics and campaign measurement. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, or training. Experience may be gained concurrently.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$121,194.70 USD

Median:

$151,010.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
