Data Analytics Project Manager Kennesaw, GA and Calhoun, GA (travel to both locations) Hybrid Work Long Term contract Job Objective: Briefly describe the main purpose of this position. The Data Analytics Project Manager is a leading performer that manages technology projects processes by leveraging creativity and comprehensive operational understanding to resolve a wide range of business issues. This role develops project plans, directs, and coordinates activities to ensure that goals or objectives of projects and/or programs are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Duties and Responsibilities of the Position : Using brief, bulleted, narrative statements, describe the main tasks and responsibilities that an employee in this position would be expected to manage. + Lead project teams, be responsible for end-to-end project management across all functions. + Leverage creativity and comprehensive process, technical, or operational understanding to resolve a wide range of issues. + Manage and coach a team that will make process changes to improve project execution efficiency and scalability. + Identify and partner with key business users from different functions and affiliate organizations to derive project needs that will enhance Order management and fulfillment systems. + Develop and maintain work plans that consider strategic goals, priorities, milestones, time estimates, task sequencing and critical paths while at the same time determining what tasks can be performed concurrently. + Ensures the timely and quality development of all deliverables for programs/projects. + Must be able to thoroughly assess projects eliminating or minimizing scope creep. + Create a consistent methodology to track and maintain future enhancements as additional requirements are added unexpectedly to a project. Required Experience and Education: Describe the education, years of experience, and any certifications necessary to complete the duties and responsibilities of this position . + Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. + 6-8 years' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. + Experience in Cloud migration project management (Azure, AWS, GCP) + Experience in Data and analytics project management (with a focus on data engineering) + Basic understanding of SAP ERP systems (FICO and OTC modules) Competencies: Describe the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position in terms of technical, managerial, interpersonal skills and unique abilities. + Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field. + Recognized cross-functionally as an expert within one or two subject matter areas. + Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. + Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. + High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. + Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products. + Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once. + High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures. + Temporary indirect reporting relationships may exist while working as Project lead.
