Data Analytics and Reporting Development Manager

About your role:

You will lead a small team of data development and reporting professionals. You will be responsible for driving the vision of the organization while overseeing the day-to-day activities of your team. This role requires the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, establish partnerships, and leverage cross-functional virtual teams to achieve organizational goals.

You should have a passion for data, reporting, and analysis, with a strong attention to detail in maintaining design, development, and quality standards. This position requires a structured development process and close collaboration. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, work well in a team environment, and possess thorough knowledge of data transformation, development, business intelligence methodologies, and related infrastructure.

What you’ll do:

Lead the improvements and advancement of reporting and data capabilities across the organization, including analytics skills, data visualization, insights, and storytelling.Contribute to the vision and strategy for the Analytics program and develop an engagement model to support each functional area of the technology and operations organization.Collaborate across all functional areas to translate business problems into optimal data modeling and analytical solutions that drive business value.Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of complex data sets to provide actionable insights.Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.Create and maintain PowerBI dashboards, analyze data, and provide insights and reporting for the organization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and ensure data integrity and accuracy.Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of data analysts and reporting specialists. Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Experience you'll need to have:

10+ years of experience in data development, analysis, and reporting, with a strong understanding of data architecture principles, methods, techniques, and technologies.8+ years of experience with data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI.3+ years of strong leadership and team management experience, with effective communication and presentation skills.Proven experience in managing data development, analytics, and reporting to implement data solutions that meet strategic and tactical business needs.Deep knowledge of best practices across data-related disciplines and technologies, including data management, data governance, and data warehousing.Bachelor’s degree in data science, data analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms like Snowflake, AWS.Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.

Salary Range

$167,200.00 - $276,100.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company’s sole discretion.
