Data Analytics Analyst 2

Overview of Team: 

The US Data Integrity team comprises over 50 employees across multiple geographies.  Our team enhances the value of IQVIA’s syndicated offerings by serving as a trusted partner to our clients. We provide expertise, timely insights & solutions, enabling clients to appropriately use our data to formulate better business decisions. 

Overview of Role:

Based in our IQVIA office in New Providence, NJ, the successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing & responding to queries raised by clients who purchase one or more of IQVIA’s syndicated prescription and/or sales data offerings (e.g. NPA, Xponent, DDD, NSP, WSP etc.). The candidate will also be responsible for completing & presenting complex data analysis/validation to internal key decision makers & external clients, leveraging their experience to provide custom data solutions. 

Principle Accountabilities:

Receives and responds to client data inquiries via remote client accessUnder guidance, identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasetsCompletes quantitative analysis and research to gain more in-depth understanding of trendsRuns standard queries for data extractionUtilizes various systems/tools to work through issue identification and follow the standard escalation process through resolutionProvides formal and written communications both internally and externally regarding issue status and resolutionVerifies data for accuracy and completenessMay manipulate and transform data to optimize analysesPerforms audits of own work or that of others to ensure conformance with established procedures or to resolve routine issuesMay construct additional reports or tools to assist in analysis

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Life Sciences, or related field(s)At least 2 years experience with data analysis Experience using Microsoft software tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and PowerBI)Basic knowledge of SQL a plus, but not required

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $53,400.00 - $133,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
