Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis Lifecycle: Designs and develops methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured, diverse sources including “big data” sources.Software Development: Develops and uses advanced software programs, algorithms, querying and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate datasets and models complex business problems. May develop information tools, algorithms, dashboards, and queries to monitor and improve business performance.Analytics and Big Data: Maintains awareness of emerging analytics and big-data technologies. Provides technical and analytic support to a small, high-impact team. Familiar with disciplines such as Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Predictive modeling, Statistical Analysis and Hypothesis testing. Statistical Models: Work with Data Scientists to build statistical models, test hypotheses, and interpret, summarize, visualize, and succinctly report data findings.Data Management: Leverage automation and machine learning models to manage data, predict scenarios, and make recommendations to a non-technical audience. You will also contribute to building new analytical tools in support of the IC customer and will collaborate with team members in a highly technical environment.Technical Frameworks: Leverage technical frameworks and collaboration technologies, including Amazon Web Service (AWS) and Git.Communication: Works with cross-discipline teams in order to ensure connectivity between various databases and systems. Identifies meaningful insights and interprets and communicates findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:

Required:

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with a polygraphEducation: BS degree and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.Scripting Experience: Python or R · Experience (either on-the-job or in an academic setting) working with data manipulation techniques and statisticsData Experience: Knowledge of computer science concepts, data architecture, and common statistical models.All Source Experience: Knowledge of all-source intelligence, including SIGINT, and/or HUMINT collection reports. Familiarity with key US foreign policy and national security Counterterrorism (CT) objectivesCommunication: Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiencesCustomer Databases: Familiarity with cable writing styles and classified client databases, including specific targeting toolsPolicies and Procedures: Knowledge of IC policies and proceduresMetrics: Ability to work efficiently in a metrics-driven environment
