The Advanced AI & Solution Team is seeking a mid\-career Data Analyst to lead the development and execution of our Data Retention capabilities within 1LMX and across the enterprise\.
**What You Will Be Doing:**
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for guiding the team in developing and integrating Records Management and Data Governance processes through Information Lifecycle Management \(ILM\)\. You will work closely with our team to analyze business process flows, identify data inputs and outputs, and collaborate with stakeholders to refine data retention requirements\. You will also have the opportunity to apply Artificial Intelligence \(AI\) and Machine Learning \(ML\) skills to support our data retention efforts and drive business outcomes\. Your responsibilities will include the following:
• Leading and supporting IT technology implementation of data retention that align with the Lockheed Martin Data Retention strategy
• Developing and integrating Records Management and Data Governance processes through ILM
• Identifying, analyzing, and documenting business processes, including workflows, procedures, and policies and collaborate with stakeholders to support the design solutions that meet business requirements
• Collaborating with stakeholders and partners \(e\.g\. legal, functional business areas, IT\) to understand and support data retention needs and provide implementation support
• Executing a plan that complies with policies aligned with or surrounding data governance, records management, and retention management
• Applying advanced knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security principles to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Facilitating workshops, meetings, and other stakeholder engagement activities to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Applying AI and ML skills to support data analytics efforts, including data processing, data visualization, and predictive modeling
• Mentoring and training junior team members
• Developing and maintaining documentation of data retention processes and procedures
• Collaborating with cross\-functional teams to identify and prioritize data retention requirements

**Basic Qualifications:**
• Experience in data analysis \(including data retention\) and with data visualization tools \(Excel, SQL, Tableau, etc\)
• Advanced knowledge of Information Lifecycle Management \(ILM\)
• Experience with data reporting
• Exposure to data governance
• Familiarity with AI/ML principles
• Knowledge of Agile methodology
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a virtual team environment and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
• US citizenship is required due to system access
**Desired Skills:**
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and data record retention management
• Certification in data analysis, data science, or a related field
• Experience with AI/ML principles
• Experience with Large Language Models \(LLM\) and Retrieval\-Augmented Generation \(RAG\) models
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
• Experience with cloud\-based data platforms, such as AWS or Azure
• Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational operations, ability to implement a standardized electronic records retention compliance strategy
• Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Data, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Full\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site\. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,300 \- $170,315\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\. **Benefits offered:** Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short\-Term Disability, Long\-Term Disability, 401\(k\) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays\. This position is incentive plan eligible\.
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 \- $150,765\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\. **Benefits offered:** Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short\-Term Disability, Long\-Term Disability, 401\(k\) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays\. \(Washington state applicants only\) Non\-represented full\-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off \(PTO\) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays\. Represented full time employees accrue 6\.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\. This position is incentive plan eligible\.
