The Data Analyst provides analytical support to ATI’s Access Management Team (AMT) and the broader Operations function, with a focus on improving patient scheduling, attendance, and clinic efficiency. Reporting through the Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE) and working closely with AMT leadership, this role is instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive operational performance and patient access outcomes.
This analyst will partner with business stakeholders to understand appointment trends, support workforce management strategies, and develop key operational scorecards and KPIs. The role involves building and maintaining reports and dashboards, interpreting performance trends, and supporting cross-functional collaboration between Analytics, AMT, and field operations teams. By surfacing insights and supporting test-and-learn efforts, the Data Analyst plays a key role in improving clinic utilization, patient adherence to care plans, and overall operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Write SQL queries to extract and analyze data from multiple sourcesCreate and maintain recurring reports and dashboards to track operational and clinical metricsEnsure data accuracy and consistency across reports
Access Management Analytics:
Partner with the Access Management team to identify trends and drivers of scheduling efficiency, patient no-shows, and late cancellationsAnalyze appointment-level data to support initiatives that improve patient access and attendanceSupport test-and-learn efforts related to schedule optimization and outreach strategies
Ad Hoc Data Requests & Business Partner Support:
Fulfill one-time and short-term data requests from operations, clinic leadership, and cross-functional teamsTranslate business questions into structured analyses and clearly communicate findings
Data Validation & Quality Assurance:
Validate data outputs and troubleshoot discrepanciesDocument data logic and reporting methodologies to ensure reproducibility and clarity
Process Improvement & Team Collaboration:
Participate in team huddles, sprint planning, and cross-functional project discussionsHelp identify and implement improvements in reporting processes and tooling QualificationsMinimum Education
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in a relevant field (e.g., public health, health services research, epidemiology, data science, data analytics).

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
• Strong proficiency in SQL, with ability to query, clean, and transform large datasets

• Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages used in data analysis
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and validation
