Data Analyst / M&E Specialist
Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world. The Data Analyst / M&E Specialist is responsible for designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track the effectiveness of training activities. This role develops and administers pre- and post-training assessments, surveys, and feedback tools to capture participant performance and satisfaction. The specialist analyzes training data to measure knowledge retention, identify areas for improvement, and ensure programs meet organizational objectives. This is a nationwide project, and we need someone who is willing to travel and take on assignments at various project sites across the country. This position is contingent upon the award of the contract Key Responsibilities: + Design, implement, and maintain robust M&E frameworks to monitor training activities and outcomes. + Develop and administer pre- and post-training assessments, surveys, and feedback tools to gather participant data. + Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to measure training effectiveness, knowledge retention, and participant satisfaction. + Identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement in training programs and recommend evidence-based adjustments. + Prepare and present accurate M&E reports for inclusion in Monthly Progress & Financial Reports and Quarterly Program Management Reports (QPMRs). + Collaborate with training teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure data collection methods align with program objectives. + Maintain organized databases and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. + Monitor performance indicators and key metrics to assess program success against established targets. + Stay updated on best practices and emerging tools in data analytics, training evaluation, and M&E methodologies Qualifications to be successful in the role: + Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Public Health, Education, Data Science, or a related field; advanced training or certification in M&E or data analytics is an advantage. + Minimum of 5 years in data analysis and monitoring & evaluation for training, capacity-building programs, or similar initiatives. + Knowledge of database management and survey tools (e.g., KoboToolbox, SurveyMonkey, or Google Forms). + Strong understanding of training-related metrics, learning outcomes, and performance indicators. + Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations. + Excellent written and verbal communication for producing clear, concise, and data-driven reports.
