The Data Analyst II plays a critical role in advancing the organization’s data-driven decision-making capabilities. This position is responsible for designing and implementing advanced analytics solutions, leading cross-functional data initiatives, and mentoring junior analysts. The Data Analyst II collaborates with stakeholders across departments to deliver actionable insights that drive strategic and operational improvements, particularly in healthcare delivery and business performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Lead the development of complex data models, dashboards, and reports to support strategic initiatives.
+ Collaborate with business leaders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert in data governance, quality assurance, and best practices in data management.
+ Mentor and provide guidance to Data Analyst team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
+ Partner with IS, finance, clinical, and operational teams to design scalable data solutions and improve data infrastructure.
+ Translate business questions into analytical problems and deliver clear, actionable insights to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Automate and optimize data workflows and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
+ Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and internal data security policies.
+ Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of data analytics roadmaps.
+ Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in healthcare informatics, Statistics, Math, Economics, Finance, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
+ 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, with at least 1 years in a healthcare.
+ Intermediate proficiency in SQL and Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Microsoft Fabric).
+ Ability to apply statistical methods to analyze healthcare trends and outcomes.
+ Familiarity with healthcare databases, EMR systems, and clinical data preferred.
+ Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, and experience in implementing data security measures.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
+ Project management experience in healthcare analytics projects desirable but not required.
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings to leadership.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
+ Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
+ Proficiency in the English Language required
Wage/Salary Information:
$74,000 - $80,000, with a $6,000 annual bonus potential
