Job Description Insight Global is hiring an experienced Data Analyst to join the Project Management and Customer Programs group within Con Edisons Gas Engineering division. The team is currently cleaning and handling data from up to 70,000 buildings or 200,000 customers per year; this position is open due to high workload. This is a 6 month contract opportunity with potential of extensions depending on the business need at the time. This is a fully remote role with the exception of onsite training in their Bronx facility during the first month in the role. The data analyst will be contributing to the safety inspection program to meet mandated New York State SLIs. This support could span various methods of data cleaning, technical insight, and/or technical support. In this role, the data analyst will work closely with the Data Manager to prioritize changing tasks and projects. Responsibilities include data cleaning and verification using Excel, Python, and SQL, and potentially doing some data visualizing data in PowerBi/Tableau/Python. An ideal candidate to be successful in this role is a great communicator when working collaboratively, attentive to detail, and able to manage time well to support various high priority tasks simultaneously.
