Our departmentThe newly formed Data & Insight (D&I) Area in the Tribe Identity and Access Management (IAM) is looking for an experienced data analyst/BI developer to join our Reporting & Insight Squad. The Tribe is divided in four areas: two that focus on offering IAM services to employees and engineers and two (where D&I is part of) responsible to build a platform and core functionality to support every IAM need of Rabobank.
The D&I Area is responsible for bringing IAM data into the global data platform, curating data to address key IAM challenges, developing machine learning and bring artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities into IAM services. Our data and consumption patterns will range from reporting to real-time analytics.
You and your job
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating across disciplines, and creating scalable solutions that empower others through self-service analytics. You don’t need to have a background in IAM—we value curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a passion for data. Experience with cloud platforms and data visualization is helpful, but we’re more interested in your mindset and potential.
Your job focuses on extracting value from IAM data and converting it into actionable insights. Your team is part of an area which helps to create insights into IAM services and IAM Compliance and In Control topics. You build reports and insights for business and system owners across the bank, management information for domain leads, bring insights on IAM customers (employee & engineers) and much more. All these responsibilities contribute to the decision-making process up to the highest level in the bank.
You closely collaborate with the data ingestion squad and solution architects to build data products that are simple to use and can solve many of the key challenges. Furthermore, the reporting & insight squad maintains key reports that are seen by highest management and external parties. You are also responsible to define key metrics that enable us to track and improve our products. D&I IAM Area is customer obsessed.
Top 3 responsibilitiesDesigning and developing new data & reporting products in the Microsoft Azure stack, such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure DevOps deployment pipelines, Power BI, etc.
Working together on new innovative solutions for complex business needs.
Developing scalable data & reporting products to support and accelerate Self-Service Business Intelligence and data informed decision-making processes.
You and your talentMaster’s degree in e.g. computer sciences;
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a BI developer in a complex IT landscape. IAM requires strong technical knowledge, experience in such space is preferred
Experienced in working with SQL and developing ETL solutions
Experienced in working with Azure data platform. For example ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Azure DevOps. Knowledge of Python and Spark is preferred
Knowledge of data modelling in Analysis Services or Power BI
Having at least one of these certificates:
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals
- Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate
Great analytical and problem solving skills
Very good communication and cooperation skills
Agile mindset and experience in working agile/scrum
Can do mentality and eager to explore and learn new technologies
