We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analytics Engineer with a strong background in Power BI, including experience in DAX calculations, to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data modelling and advanced data visualization techniques. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data analytics solutions and dashboards using primarily Microsoft's Power BI, enabling strategic data-driven decision-making to our clients. Responsibilities: · Design, develop, semantic models, utilizing DAX calculations where appropriate, to ensure accurate and timely data integration from various sources. · Create interactive and insightful data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI and other visualization & analytical tools, ensuring they meet the needs of our business users. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data analytics solutions. · Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the analytics lifecycle. · Continuously seek opportunities to optimize existing analytics solutions and processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness. · Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders. · Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data analytics, particularly those related to AI usage in reporting solutions. **Required technical and professional expertise** Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field. A master’s degree would be advantageous. · Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Analytics or similar role. · Demonstrated professional experience in data modelling, python and SQL querying. · Demonstrated strong professional experience in the design & creation of complex data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI with DAX calculations. · Strong interest in AI to support advanced business insights & processes. Being familiar with essential concept for enterprise AI like guard railing, security, AI governance · Experience in agile development methodologies and version control systems. · Excellent communication skills, with the ability to dive into business topics and explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders. · Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment. · Certifications in Power BI or other relevant data analytics tools would be highly beneficial. * Fluent English and Dutch or French (written & spoken) This role requires professional experience, indicating a high level of autonomy and drive to continuously learn.
