Incorporating data driven decision making, this position will analyze large amounts of data for manufacturing trends and directly influence decision making on a daily/weekly basis. Being savvy in manipulating data and automating reports is a key to be successful in this role as well as having strong communication skills while identifying key issues. Data Analyst job duties: * Writing Excel Macros, manipulating data, automating reports * Lead and support projects, schedule meetings, report out information, and demonstrate successful methods to work around roadblocks or delays. * Evaluate data pull processes and recommend/implement process improvements * Develop reporting processes, create work instructions, develop process improvements which may include automating data pulls and reporting, integrating multiple data reports, and standardizing methods. Qualifications: * BS Degree in Data, Finance, Business, STEM, or other related disciplines * One or more years of work experience in a customer facing role in an engineering or manufacturing environment (internships considered) * Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot charts/tables are a must have * Experience with VBA Macros and/or PowerBI is highly preferred * Strong self-management, with the ability to work independently and as a team * Must be outgoing, enjoy solving problems, and be an excellent communicator (written and verbal). * US Citizenship required due to the nature of the work Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package.
