Job Title: Data Analyst – On-Premise Master Data

Airswift is seeking a detail-driven Data Analyst to join one of our major clients in the energy sector. This position focuses on on-premise master data environments, supporting core business functions through accurate data reporting, analysis, and governance.
This is not a cloud or data science role, it’s ideal for professionals experienced with ERP systems, SQL-based reporting, and master data management within structured enterprise IT ecosystems.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and maintain master data (customers, vendors, materials, assets) across on-premise enterprise systems
Conduct data profiling, validation, and cleansing to ensure consistency and accuracy
Generate reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and other enterprise tools
Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data requirements and address quality issues
Document data definitions, flow diagrams, and processes for cross-functional clarity
Participate in data migration, integration, and transformation activities within ERP platforms
Support and enforce data governance policies and quality control standards
Basic / Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in Data Analysis within on-premise enterprise environments
Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, validation, and reporting
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or JD Edwards
Familiarity with master data domains and MDM practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other reporting tools
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship
Preferred QualificationsExperience with ETL tools like Informatica or SSIS (on-premise context)
Exposure to data governance frameworks and enterprise data policies
Knowledge of data warehousing and traditional BI environments
Prior experience in energy, utilities, or manufacturing sectors
