What the day will look like Lead the development and/or improvement of analytic models through design, testing and implementation to improve scalability, efficiency and accelerate delivery of insights Develop clear and well-structured analytical approach on datasets to generate commercial insights Source, preprocess, analyse and visualize climate/geospatial data across multiple sources Create mock-ups, prototypes and technical work flows using wireframe or any other business process tools. Work closely with fellow analysts and developers in implementing business intelligence and machine learning deliverables. Skills and experience that will lead to success 3-5 years of experience in Data & Analytics or similar role BS or MS degree in data science, mathematics, computer science or other related field with strong statistical background Proficient in statistical analysis (hypothesis development, testing, regression) and experience with building scalable analytic models, reporting pipelines, with SQL and Python Familiarity with big data processing using Spark/Dask, geospatial analysis, and machine learning is advantageous Basic understanding in data visualization tools such as PowerBI or equivalent Demonstrated ability to adapt to agile environments with a proactive, detail-oriented approach, eagerness to learn, relationship-building expertise, and knowledge of data project best practices for maintainability and efficiency.
