Data Analyst

Alken-Maes has a centralized team for Business Intelligence (BI). This team’s primary responsibility is to accelerate insights collection, creation & delivery to internal stakeholders. In this team, Business & Data Analysts work closely together. This allows us to develop fit-for-purpose solutions in a consistent manner.

What started as volume vs. market tracking, has grown into a broader mission: helping our business make better decisions, faster. The goal? Expand our impact and bring data magic to more corners of Alken-Maes — while learning from other HEINEKEN OpCos along the way.

YOUR JOB

As a Data Analyst, you help shape our ambition to become a truly data-driven company. You’re a key business partner for Sales & Marketing.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Ensure our Power BI reports run smoothly: reliable, clear, fast, and insightful. Constantly improve our reporting landscape — think smarter data sources, better visualisations, sharper insights. Coach colleagues to explore data on their own, turning dashboards into daily habits.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Make data a mindset:

Use data to support, challenge and inspire our business stakeholders with actionable information and insights about our (commercial) tactics. Support campaigns and commercial initiatives by uncovering what works — and what doesn’t — through concrete numbers and clear insights. Inspire teams with what’s possible: proactively share new tools, views, or data sources that could unlock smarter ways of working. Help translate consumer behaviour and commercial performance into actionable plans that grow our brands in Off-Trade (supermarkets) and On-Trade (bars, restaurants, festivals).

2. Maintain existing reporting landscape & run several data-driven projects to deliver actionable insights based on key business questions

Participate to the development of our data-driven learning agenda. Engage a fruitful and effective collaboration with Global Analytics team to be on top of Global models deployment. Maintain and improve recurring reporting in Power BI — always looking for ways to make it cleaner, faster, and more relevant. Work closely with business stakeholders to deeply understand their needs and turn them into dashboards that actually help them work better. Turn results of analytics to actionable insights. Help business users get more confident in using dashboards, tools and insights independently.
