Data Analysis: Collecting, cleansing, and analyzing financial and operational data (e.g., costs, production, efficiency, inventory) to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.Reporting & Monitoring: Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track factory performance against budgets and goals (e.g., P&L, cost variances).Budgeting & Forecasting: Supporting annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for factory operations, including cost calculations and variance explanations.Strategic Insights: Translating complex data into actionable recommendations for optimizing operations, reducing costs, improving profitability, and guiding strategic decisions.Cross-functional Collaboration: Working with production, supply chain, procurement, and other departments to gather requirements, ensure data accuracy, and align financial objectives with operational realities.

Qualifications - External

Education

Bachelor's Degree: Essential, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.

 

Technical Skills

BI Tools: Advanced Excel, Tableau/Power BI, and SQL are critical.ERP Systems: Experience with SAP (especially CO, PP, MM modules) is highly valued due to its prevalence in manufacturing.Modeling: Strong financial modeling and statistical analysis abilities.

 

Domain Knowledge

Financial: Deep understanding of cost accounting, financial statements, budgeting, and variance analysis.Operational: Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and key operational KPIs.

 

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Detail-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable.

 

Experience & Certifications

Relevant experience (2-5+ years) in data analysis or finance within a manufacturing environment is typically preferred for experienced roles.Certifications in data analytics can be advantageous.
