Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support a finance and accounting transformation project for a global organisation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Power BI, Python, and SQL, with experience or familiarity with Snowflake being a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to support decision-making across finance and business teams. Perform complex data analysis and transformation using SQL and Python. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, data engineering, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable insights. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across different systems and reporting platforms. Conduct data validation, quality checks, and performance tuning for reporting solutions. Support ad-hoc data needs and deep-dive analytics requests.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role within a data-driven environment. Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, custom visuals). Advanced SQL skills for querying and data manipulation. Proficiency in Python for data wrangling, analysis, and automation. Ability to work with large, complex datasets from various sources. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Desirable:

Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms. Background in financial data or accounting systems. Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing principles.
