**ABOUT YOUR ROLE:**
We are seeking an entry level **Data analyst** **Material** **Librar** **y** to be a team member of the Materials Library function that services VF FW & EQ brands in material creation, management and governance
The Data analyst, Material Library will be responsible for materials selection analysis and standardizing library processes across VF FW & EQ brands. You will collaborate closely with the Materials Sourcing and Brand teams on implementing material selection processes that enable VF brands to leverage a consolidated materials library.
This role requires a strong data analysis background with interest and/or knowledge in material sciences along with basic project management capabilities. This role is instrumental in driving efficiency, enabling material leverage across regions and optimising material spend.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE** **:**

MATERIAL DATA ANALYSIS AND REPORTING
+ _Track_ _brand_ _material development and_ _carry-over_ _utilization_ _, analy_ _s_ _e_ _data_ _and actively provide insights to_ _brands and material sourcing to drive scale and_ _cross-brand_ _leverage_
+ _Support new material development_ _with data analysis support,_ _building an understanding of_ _material attributes_ _to provide meaningful alternative recommendations to brand teams_
+ _Maintain material library data accuracy and quality,_ _actively working with suppliers to close data gaps and conduct audits to_ _validate_ _accuracy_
PROCESS ADHERENCE AND IMPROVEMENT
+ _Faci_ _litate_ _material library curation process during product development, working closely with brand designers and PD_ _to ensure SOP is followed and efficient_
+ _Train and onboard Material Sou_ _r_ _cing and Brand teams onto_ _the_ _material library curation process, ensuring process flows and documentation are communicated_ _well_ _and accessible_
+ _Develo_ _p_ _tools_ _, reporting_ _nand_ _system enhancements to support effective material comparisons_ _taking into account_ _historical use_ _,_ _feel, qualities, cost etc._
PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COLLABORATION
+ _Provide clear communication to_ _both internal (Material sourcing and Brand) and external (Suppliers)_ _stakeholders to influence behavio_ _u_ _r change and achieve business_ _needs_
+ _Assist_ _in planning and executing_ _material library related projects (e.g. materials consolidation_ _, cost saving initiatives) co-ordinating with stakeholders to ensure progress adherence_
+ _S_ _upport ad-hoc_ _any_ _material_ _data_ _related requests_ _as_ _required_ _(e.g. corporate level_ _,_ _material count / usage_ _related reporting_ _)_
**WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU** **:**
+ _1-3 years of experience in_ _operations_ _and/or product development function_ _(Fresh graduates welcome)_
+ _Undergraduate degree in Quantitative/STE_ _M_ _field_
+ _Intermediate user of Microsoft Office tools, especially excel_
+ _Proficiency_ _in at least one data processing tool (e.g. Excel VBA / Power query,_ _Knime_ _, Alteryx)_
+ _Clear communication skills, both verbally and written_
+ _Strong analytical and data-driven mindset_
+ _Good stakeholder management_
