Data Analyst, Materials Library
**ABOUT YOUR ROLE:** We are seeking an entry level **Data analyst Material Library** to be a team member of the Materials Library function that services VF FW & EQ brands in material creation, management and governance The Data analyst, Material Library will be responsible for materials selection analysis and standardizing library processes across VF FW & EQ brands. You will collaborate closely with the Materials Sourcing and Brand teams on implementing material selection processes that enable VF brands to leverage a consolidated materials library. This role requires a strong data analysis background with interest and/or knowledge in material sciences along with basic project management capabilities. This role is instrumental in driving efficiency, enabling material leverage across regions and optimising material spend. **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE** **:** _Include but not limited to;_ **MATERIAL DATA ANALYSIS AND REPORTING** + _Track brand material development and carry-over utilization, analyse data and actively provide insights to brands and material sourcing to drive scale and cross-brand leverage_ + _Support new material development with data analysis support, building an understanding of material attributes to provide meaningful alternative recommendations to brand teams_ + _Maintain material library data accuracy and quality, actively working with suppliers to close data gaps and conduct audits to validate accuracy_ **PROCESS ADHERENCE AND IMPROVEMENT** + _Facilitate material library curation process during product development, working closely with brand designers and PD to ensure SOP is followed and efficient_ + _Train and onboard Material Sourcing and Brand teams onto the material library curation process, ensuring process flows and documentation are communicated well and accessible_ + _Develop tools, reporting nand system enhancements to support effective material comparisons taking into account historical use, feel, qualities, cost etc._ **PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COLLABORATION** + _Provide clear communication to both internal (Material sourcing and Brand) and external (Suppliers) stakeholders to influence behaviour change and achieve business needs_ + _Assist in planning and executing material library related projects (e.g. materials consolidation, cost saving initiatives) co-ordinating with stakeholders to ensure progress adherence_ + _Support ad-hoc any material data related requests as required (e.g. corporate level, material count / usage related reporting)_ **WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU** **:** + _1-3 years of experience in operations and/or product development function (Fresh graduates welcome)_ + _Undergraduate degree in Quantitative/STEM field_ + _Intermediate user of Microsoft Office tools, especially excel_ + _Proficiency in at least one data processing tool (e.g. Excel VBA / Power query, Knime, Alteryx)_ + _Clear communication skills, both verbally and written_ + _Strong analytical and data-driven mindset_ + _Good stakeholder management_ **WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:** + _A purpose-driven opportunity to transform how we source and manage materials across iconic global brands_ + _A platform to lead cross brand and cross category impact in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment_ + _The ability to build the future of materials- digitally, sustainably and strategically_ + _Providing you with the best in class, work environment, well-being policies and work-place flexibility that is about helping you show up and lean into life with your whole self – emotionally, physically and socially._ R-20250717-0090 VF Diversity Vision Statement VF is committed to creating an inclusive environment that welcomes and values the differences among all of our associates, customers, suppliers and the communities in which we live and conduct business.
